University of Alberta Botanic Garden parking lot
Please join the Friends of the Garden on Sunday July 30 at the parking lot at the University of Alberta Botanic Garden for a guided walk in the garden with Dr Lee Foote. Lee will take us to the construction of the Aga Khan garden and show us what work has been done and explain what will be done. There are also other changes in the garden that will be explained. This is also a great opportunity to ask any questions about the UABG and the exciting changes that are taking place in the next few years. Also we will be looking for the Painted Lady Butterflies that are coming to Alberta for the first time since 2005. Has anyone seen one yet? We could be lucky and spot one at the garden.
This is a free event for FOG members. Non members pay the entrance fee to the garden. Please let Dana know if you would like to attend this walk. Hope to see you and a friend there!
